The Story

In his work “Thufuism” as he calls it, you can discover the roots of 3D rendering, but you can also be surprised by his patient research of well balanced color schemes and his streamlined African patterns. He enjoys painting outdoors especially on walls, boards, indoors on canvas/paper and digital works.

Bebeto Ince Ochieng better known as Thufu B was born in Nairobi, Kenya. Who’s passion for art started after nursery school when he was gifted his first sketching book. When joining the university back in 2011 he discovered an artist known as Patrick Mukabi who helped him maneuver the Nairobi art scene. Through the years, both as an artist and as a member of the BSQ graffiti crew, his style, which is today highly recognizable, has become a mix of influences from African cultures and his own research.
