Allan ‘THINK’ Kioko is a visual artist, illustrator and muralist based at the BSQ Crew Train Wagon Studio
Nairobi, Kenya who grew his skill under the tutelage of veteran artist Patrick Mukabi at the Dust Depo
Art Studio. He is an expressive painter and a lover of bold strokes, color and texture.
His artwork is
primarily done using acrylic on canvas and watercolor on paper.He draws inspiration from his own life
experiences, places he’s been to and the African people.
Kioko’s artwork has been exhibited at
The National Museum of Kenya(affordable art show),
Sanaa Festival(Adelaide, Australia),
Accolades include a commendation award from the MASK prize competition(2018)
Second runner-up at the Manjano Art Competition(2019)
