Allan ‘Think‘ Kioko is a visual artist, illustrator and muralist based at the BSQ Crew Train Wagon Studio Nairobi, Kenya, and is also a member of the BSQ graffiti collective. He grew his skill under the tutelage of veteran artist Patrick Mukabi at the Dust Depo Art Studio. He is an expressive painter and a lover of bold strokes, color and texture. His artwork is primarily done using acrylic on canvas and watercolor on paper, deemed as thought provoking, humorous and sometimes controversial. He draws inspiration from his own life experiences, places he’s been to and the African people.

Just like his mentor, Kioko is also an aspiring art teacher and recently taught art at the Aga Khan Primary School’s Deaf Unit.
